This week we have been working on a new range of cell phones, coming up with concepts, modelling them, and then sending them out for prototyping. They are relatively cheap to make so they pretty much build a model of any design they need to.
Here are a few pics of the studio.....
Saturday
Well, last night I went out with some of the guys from the studio. We went to some of the local restaurants and bars in the Soho area. It was really busy and crammed full of people. Hong Kong island is a very hilly place with lots of really steep winding roads bustling with people. In the downtown HK area you really feel like your in a BIG city. It's very cosmopolitan!
After a quick lunch at a local Japanese cafe I headed back to Central to explore more of Hong Kong island in daylight. This next picture is from one of the piers at Hong Kong harbour, the triangular building is the I.M Pei Bank of China Tower. The last picture is the view of the back of the building from the garden of a house party that we ended up going to on Saturday night!!! I was invited through one of the guys from the studio so we went to check it out as it's in a really well to do part of town. The house was a three storey, modernist, cube like structure with amazing interiors, and of course, the view! I have no idea who actually lives there but they obviously live a very comfortable life!

first off, i won't even ask about the whole percy pig thing... and one of my goals in this life is to have a beer in every country in the world. you obviously are closer to my goal than i am, but i do not resent you... well actually i do... nice picture of street life... you should buy yourself a plant and maybe one of those goldfish...
Great photos! Glad to hear the work is going well and you're taking in the local flavor- eggs, Japanese food... ;-)
The studio in ATL continues to be empty as people are traveling to Amsterdam, Boston, etc. I think Todd Hammell will be joining you at the end of the month (if you're still there).
Julie and Cindy both gave new dogs that they have been bringing into the office. Loads of laughs!
Post often!
